I also made this card using the Heartstrings WOTG stamp set G1090.

I also added some Stuck on you Puffies Z3037.

I made this layout with the rest of the paper I had left from my kit after making the other projects. I used the Snowhaven complements X7188C, some silver sequins Z2013, and some bitty sparkles Z1263. I also used the stamp set from the workshop on the go G1085. I displayed my layout in the Design decor black shadow box Z2015.

I made this layout using pattern 7 from Make it from your Heart Vol 1 (9035). To decorate my layout, I used the Snowhaven complements X7188C, some silver geometric washi tape Z1932, silver sequins Z2013, and some bitty sparkles Z1263. I also added some large pearls on the snowflakes.

I made this card using a stamp from Be Jolly hostess stamp set B1455, a stamp from the workshop on the go stamp set G1085, some bitty sparkles Z1263, and a red enamel heart Z2009.

I also used the stamps from the workshop on the go G1085 to create this card.

I used the Artiste Z1790 to cut this Gift card holder. I used the Be Jolly B1455 Hostess stamp set and some bitty sparkles.

Thanks for joining us this month and come back next month to see what creative projects we can bring to you! Thank you for stopping by and please feel free to leave a comment.

Christmas card kits

Last year I held a Christmas card workshop for kids and received great feedback on my kits.
This year I decided to do it again but made kits for any age.
The kits include 15 card bases and envelopes and enough pre-stamped images, pre-cut cardstock,  sentiments as well as embellishments to bling it up!

You can make many different combinations, just let your imagine run wild!
Here are a few simple cards which only took a few minutes to put together.

This card is very simple but one of my favorites from the bunch!

You can add as much, or as little detail as you'd like.
Hope you enjoy this card kit &
Stay tuned for Birthday card kits, coming soon!!

Hearts of the West November's Yuletide blog hop

If this is your first time joining us you will love it. It features Close to my hearts Consultants from all over Canada showing you their projects. The hearts of the west team was founded by Nancy Klein.
This months challenge is Yuletide paper pack, brought to you by the new Annual Inspirations, hand picked by Nancy Klein.

If you came from Corinna Murphy's Blog then you're in the right place, this is a go around blog hop so you can start anywhere! Just in case you need to find your way, the full list will be at the bottom. So, as always, grab your coffee, tea, water, relax, and hop around the team with us.

I had a lot of fun working with this kit.

I used the Workshop on the Go G1084 to create the layout below. I also added a few extra details using the complement pack X7187C.
I also made the additional layout which is a layout featured in the Make it from Your Heart Volume 1 9035.  I made a few changes to the suggested layout, once again adding some of the elements from the complements.

Now I just have to find some pictures to add to these layouts!

I love making tags! I made a few tags of different sizes. I used the artiste cartridge to cut these out Z1790. These are intended to be cards but I scaled them down a few sizes.  I used some Gold assortment Z2012 and some Ribbon rosettes to decorate the tags.

I also used this paper pack to get a head start on getting some Christmas cards done.
I used some of the Christmas trees from the wotg layout. I used the stamp set just to say D1629 from artfully sent collection.

I also used a stamp from the Snowhaven card wotg G1085 on this card along with a few stamps included with the Artfully sent cartridge Z3017.

Hearts of the West October Blog hop

Welcome to the Hearts of the West team blog hop!

If this is your first time joining us you will love it. It features Close to my hearts Consultants from all over Canada showing you their projects. The hearts of the west was founded by Nancy Klein.
This months challenge is Scaredy Cat paper pack, brought to you by the new Annual Inspirations, hand picked from Nancy Klein.
If you came from Holly Young-Bowers then you're in the right place, this is a go around blog hop so you can start anywhere! Just in case, the full list will be at the bottom. So, as always, grab your coffee, tea, water, relax, and hop around the team with us.

I like to browse Pinterest,  a little too much is what my husband would say.  I get so many ideas and love to recreate some of the folds or techniques.
I saw a tutorial on a star fold card. I decided to try it out with this kit.
I used the August stamp of the month with thistle Z2640 and slate ink Z2173, along with some gold sequins Z2012 to decorate it.
What a quick and easy fold to do!
I decorated the envelope to match using the January sotm It's the little things S1411 and I used the scallop border punch Z1851 and a Martha Stewart Spider web punch.
I also created this layout for my October crop.  I used the Scaredy Cat paper pack X7185B and Complement X7185C.
I decorated it using some resin stars from the Scaredy Cat assortment Z3011 and some black shimmer tape Z1809.
I used some pop up dots to make my little pumpkin stand out.

It doesn't all have to be Halloween themed!
Here are a few cards I created using the patterned paper.

It can be used for any occasion! I used a stamp from the for a friend stamp set D1542 and added some slate intertwined baker's twine Z1921. I stapled the twine using my favorite new tool! The new mini stapler Z2027.

I made this card for a bridal shower. I lifted it from someone in a Facebook card making group. The sentiment is from the happy couple stamp set D1539. The dress stamp is one that was given to me but I had never used-until now! I added some sparkles Z1754, silver sequin Z2013 and a piece of tulle to go over the bottom of the dress.

My crop would not be complete without a treat!

I used the Artiste cartridge to make these cute treat boxes for the wonderful ladies that attend my crop. I used the resin stars from the Scaredy Cat assortment Z3011, the spider is from the complement X7185C and I stamped the little sentiments using the Frightfully fun stamp set B1453 with slate ink Z2173.

I had extra time to create so many projects this month. I love the versatility of this paper pack. I hope you enjoyed viewing my projects!

Chalk it Up crop

It felt great to get back to the craft room getting the kits ready for another crop.  Chalk it Up is the kit I decided to work with this month. With September being back to school it just seemed fitting.

I did this layout using 3 different school pictures of my daughter. I used our mini stapler to attach the piece or striped twill ribbon Z1988 on the top. I stamped using the workshop on the go stamp set.

I also used this kit to make several different cards.
I used the you mean the wold to me B1467 stamp set on this card which was inspired by Pinterest.

One of the cards from the chalk it up picture my life kit was used on this card along with some washi tape and chalk it up assortment.
For this card here I wanted to showcase the masking tape technique. I used lagoon, sorbet, and flaxen to create the background to my stamped image from Capture the day A1165 stamp set. I used a small flower and the striped twill ribbon Z1988 to decorate my card and more washi tape.

I have never before followed instructions or recipe cutting guides to create layouts or cards. When I saw fellow consultants Susan Williams's Chalk it Up Workshop guide I definitely had to have it. I loved the beautiful layouts. So I purchased her instructions and recreated them for my crop. I had already used some of my chipboard pieces so I changed it up a bit.

Her guide was very easy to follow and they turned out beautifully! I love everything about the layouts! Now to find some pictures to fill these.

Happy Scrapping!

September's Hearts of the West Blog Hop

Welcome to the Hearts of the West team blog hop! September's Edition. If this is your first time joining us you will love it. It features Close to my Heart Consultants from all over Canada showing you their projects. The hearts of the west was founded by Nancy Klein.
This months challenge is Pathfinding paper pack, brought to you by the new Annual Inspirations, hand picked by Nancy Klein.

If you came from Freya Hall Dunbar's Blog then you're in the right place, this is a go around blog so you can start anywhere! Just in case the full list will be at the bottom. SO as always grab your coffee, tea, water, relax and hop around the team with us.

I've been travelling and enjoying the outdoors this summer and have been neglecting my projects and craft room. I'm sure I'm not the only one!!  As my crafting "to do" list is getting longer I  decided to use this paper pack to also make cards for my monthly CTMH card swap.

I used both the Pathfinding paper pack (X7186B) and complements (X7186C)

I used the thin 3d foam tape (Z2060) to layer my sentiment- from the You mean the world to me stamp set (B1467) and regular foam dots for the chipboard piece. I placed the flower chipboard on the edge of the flap to keep the card closed.

There were a few different shapes so I used all the flowers. I added a piece a bronze shimmer trim (Z1849) to add some sparkle and some durables triangle studs (Z1928) on the top of the fold.

On the inside of my card I used the Fabulous You stamp set (C1533) and the wood grain washi tape(discontinued).

My card wouldn't be complete without a matching envelope! I used the Thank you from the pretty petals stamp set (C1599).
