Welcome to the Hearts of the West team blog hop!

If this is your first time joining us, Welcome!  It features Close to my Heart's Consultants from all over Canada showing you their crafty creations.
To celebrate the launch of the new Holiday Expression, this month's feature is the Jeepers Creepers collection.

If you came from Donna's blog then you're in the right place, this is a circular blog hop so you can start anywhere! Just in case you get lost along the way, the full list will be at the bottom of the page. So, as always, grab a drink and hop around the team with us and enjoy the creative projects.

With this paper collection I decided to make a few cards to get ready for the upcoming birthdays. I used the Monstrous Halloween thin cuts and stamp bundle Z4006 to make the cute little monsters. This is a great set to add to any craft room!
I mixed the stamp sets to get the sentiment I wanted. I decorated using the jeepers creepers washi tape Z4010, some stars from the assortment Z4009, some purple shimmer trim(discontinued) and some white twine Z3216.

I used the same products as above to embellish this card. Notice the sentiment? YES, we now have stamps En Francais! I am very excited! The stamp is from Wise Guy Birthday (French) C1662F

I hope you enjoyed this card collection!

Thank you for joining us this month. Please join us again on October 1st for our next Heart's of the West Blog Hop featuring CTMH's Swan Lake.

Hearts of the West October Blog hop

Welcome to the Hearts of the West team blog hop!

If this is your first time joining us you will love it. It features Close to my hearts Consultants from all over Canada showing you their projects. The hearts of the west was founded by Nancy Klein.
This months challenge is Scaredy Cat paper pack, brought to you by the new Annual Inspirations, hand picked from Nancy Klein.
If you came from Holly Young-Bowers then you're in the right place, this is a go around blog hop so you can start anywhere! Just in case, the full list will be at the bottom. So, as always, grab your coffee, tea, water, relax, and hop around the team with us.

I like to browse Pinterest,  a little too much is what my husband would say.  I get so many ideas and love to recreate some of the folds or techniques.
I saw a tutorial on a star fold card. I decided to try it out with this kit.
I used the August stamp of the month with thistle Z2640 and slate ink Z2173, along with some gold sequins Z2012 to decorate it.
What a quick and easy fold to do!
I decorated the envelope to match using the January sotm It's the little things S1411 and I used the scallop border punch Z1851 and a Martha Stewart Spider web punch.
I also created this layout for my October crop.  I used the Scaredy Cat paper pack X7185B and Complement X7185C.
I decorated it using some resin stars from the Scaredy Cat assortment Z3011 and some black shimmer tape Z1809.
I used some pop up dots to make my little pumpkin stand out.

It doesn't all have to be Halloween themed!
Here are a few cards I created using the patterned paper.

It can be used for any occasion! I used a stamp from the for a friend stamp set D1542 and added some slate intertwined baker's twine Z1921. I stapled the twine using my favorite new tool! The new mini stapler Z2027.

I made this card for a bridal shower. I lifted it from someone in a Facebook card making group. The sentiment is from the happy couple stamp set D1539. The dress stamp is one that was given to me but I had never used-until now! I added some sparkles Z1754, silver sequin Z2013 and a piece of tulle to go over the bottom of the dress.

My crop would not be complete without a treat!

I used the Artiste cartridge to make these cute treat boxes for the wonderful ladies that attend my crop. I used the resin stars from the Scaredy Cat assortment Z3011, the spider is from the complement X7185C and I stamped the little sentiments using the Frightfully fun stamp set B1453 with slate ink Z2173.

I had extra time to create so many projects this month. I love the versatility of this paper pack. I hope you enjoyed viewing my projects!

Your next stop is Chelsey Vorosmarty.

Heart's of the West July Blog Hop

Welcome back to the Hearts of the West team blog hop July edition. If this is your first time joining us you will love it. It features Close to my heart consultants from the hearts of the west and team members from all over Canada and is founded by Nancy Klein. This month's challenge is a celebration of our beloved Country's Birthday!
A fun little fact...Canada is turning 147 years old. This month our challenge is using red and white.

This month is a challenge for sure, we are able to use the basic color pallet for accent colors. Grab your coffee, sit down and join us on a journey of creative paper crafts from the Heart!
If you came from Donna Digby's Blog,  you're in the right place, this is a go around blog so you can start anywhere you'd like. The full list is at the end in case.

A fellow consultant posted cute little purses she made on her Facebook page. I thought they were so cute & just had to make some too!

I made a few minor changes to the design but otherwise the same. I used the polka dot embossing folder on the white cardstock for both sides of the gift purse.

I also saw another tutorial by the same crafter.

For this little gift card holder, I embossed it using the damask embossing folder.

For this one I used the quatrefoil embossing folder and added a cute little bow from the Ariana assortment.

These are cute little sets that can be paired as a gift for someone special!
Hope you enjoyed it!
For instructions on making the classy gift bags please visit Papercraft Button on You Tube.
Your next creative stop is Freya Dunbar's blog.
Thank you for joining us this month and we all look forward to next month's challenge. We all enjoy your comments and questions, show your love and leave one for us....Contact your local consultant for any of the products shown, or to join us. You're welcome here!
