Welcome to our Hearts of the West Blog Hop!
If this is the first time joining us you will love it. It features Close to My Heart Consultants from all across Canada showing you their projects. The Hearts of the West team was founded by Nancy Klein.
We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers.
This month's hop features one of our new paper packets - City Sidewalks!
City Sidewalks paper collection, X7213B
If you came from Anna's blog then you're in the right place, this is a circular blog hop so you can start anywhere! Just in case you get lost along the way, the full list will be at the bottom of the page. So, as always, grab a drink and hop around the team with us and enjoy the creative projects.
City Sidewalks Complements, X7213C
To make this easel card I used the Jolly Holiday stamp set C16548 and stamped it in sea glass ink Z2813. Also using Sea Glass ink, I stamped the sentiment from the Season of Magic C1665. I embellished the card using retired white sequins, sparkles, ribbon, and glitter flakes from the complements collection. I also used the Turquoise Blue ShinHan marker (Z2465) to contour the edges of the card.
I also used thin 3-D foam tape (Z2060) to pop the sentiments on both the inside & outside of the card.
I made this card following most of the instructions for one of the cards in the Workshop Your Way City Sidewalks Scrapbooking kit (G1114) but put my own spin on it.
I used the stamp set from the Workshop Your Way Happy Holidays card making kit (G1115). I used the small sparkles and red enamel gems (Z3090) to embellish it.
Thank you for joining us this month. Please join us again on December 1st for our next Heart's of the West Blog Hop featuring the Oh Deer! Collection.
Now hop on over to Corrina's blog to see what she's crafted up!
